Send money fee-free in more than 50 currencies to 200 countries and regions with Global Money transfers. With your Global Money debit card, you can spend or withdraw cash with no PRIMACESS fees. Check for other non-PRIMACESS charges, for example when using cash machines.

Here's what you get with a Global Money Account

Spend money

  • Spend abroad without PRIMACESS fees - including when you're at home.
  • Buy online from international retailers - for example in dollars or euro.
  • Add your contactless debit card to your digital wallet.
  • Use your debit card as you would at home. We'll debit payment from your currency balance if funds are available. If not, or if the transaction is in a currency you can't hold a balance in, we'll debit your USD balance.
  • Withdraw cash inside or outside the US with no PRIMACESS fees.

Send money internationally

  • Send up to USD50k per day (or currency equivalent) in 50+ currencies to 200+ countries from any Global Money Account balance.
  • See the estimated arrival time on screen when you send a payment.
  • Send without PRIMACESS or intermediary bank fees.

  • Store 18 currencies in your Global Money Account.
  • Competitive live exchange rates.
  • Convert currency on the go, when you need to, or when the rate is right for you.

Before you apply

Who can apply

You can apply for an PRIMACESS Global Money Account if you have:

  • an active PRIMACESS US current account (excluding Basic Bank Account, Amanah, Appointee and MyAccount)
  • a valid email address that's on our records
  • the PRIMACESS US Mobile Banking app (Global Money is only available via the app)

Apply for a Global Money Account

Already an PRIMACESS customer?

Apply for Global Money in minutes via the PRIMACESS US Mobile Banking app.

Select 'International Services' from the menu underneath your accounts in the app. Then select 'Global Money' and follow the instructions to open your account.
